I Like You
I Like You
helps build trust and warm feelings
between and adult and a child or between two children.
It aslo helps children learn to name some of the parts of the body. Each pair of children (or adult and
child) is asked to hold hands, touch noses, point at eyes, touch ears, and talk to each other. Be sure
to tell children not to actually touch anyone's eye during the third verse.

It's a happy day. They're lots of game to play on a happy day like today.
So come with me and you will see how happy we can be together.
Can you hold my hand? I'll hold your hand too.
Don't you understand I'll hold you hand 'cause I like you.
I'm holdin' your hand
You're holdin' my hand too.
We're holdin' hands 'cause you like me
And I like you
It's a happy day. They're lots of game to play on a happy day like today.
So come with me and you will see how happy we can be together.
Can I touch your nose? Why do you suppose?
I want to touch your nose to let you know I like you.
I'm touching your nose.
You're touching my nose too.
We're touching noses 'cause you like me
And I like you
Let me see your eyes, You can see mine too
I guess it's no surprise you know I like you
Can I point to your eyes?
You can point to my eyes too
We're pointing at our eyes 'cause you like me
And I like you
Let me see your ears. You can see mine too
Your ears will let you hear me say I like you
Can I touch your ears?
Your can touch my ears too
We're touching ears 'cause you like me
And I like you
It's a happy day. They're lots of game to play on a happy day like today.
So come with me and you will see how happy we can be together.
Let me hear your voice. You can hear mine too
I'll make a little noise to let you know I like you
I'll talk to you
You can talk to me too
We're talkin' 'cause you like me
And I like you
